C. Earl Page Park This small 1-acre neighborhood park is located near the intersection of West 14 th Street & 13 th Avenue W. The amenities in this location include children's play equipment, picnic tables, a small open shelter, benches, and open green space. Sunset Park This neighborhood park located in the west central portion of Spencer at West 7 th Street & 11 th Avenue W. is a small 2-acre park that offers a basketball court, baseball diamond, children's playground, picnic tables, and a shelter house for its patrons. West View Memorial Park Located on the property of Johnson Elementary School is West View Memorial Park near the intersection of West 9 th Street & 11 th Avenue West. This unique 5-acre park offers the residents of Spencer an opportunity to meander through an arboretum along a trail. West View is generally a quiet and serene park. In 2016, the Deegan Children’s Theater in conjunction with the Spencer Parks and Recreation Department dedicated the Basil and Mindy Deegan Pavilions in Westview Park. The Deegan Pavilions is an outdoor performing arts stage built with the intent for providing live entertainment and performing arts in the “park”. The Spencer Community Theater, including the Deegan Children Theatre will periodically offer live performances on the stage during the summer months. Deerfield Park Deerfield Park is Spencer’s newest neighborhood Park. Completed in 2015, with ongoing improvements today, Deerfield Park is a five (5) acre neighborhood park located in the Deerfield Subdivision in northwest Spencer. This neighborhood park includes a large grass play area, paved trails throughout the park, a new playground with many amenities. In 2016, the parks department completed a structed shelter house, picnic tables, etc.
