• Rain Forests The Hoh Rain Forest in the heart of the Olympic National Park is home to Sitka spruce and Western hemlock up to 300 feet tall, while moss-laden fallen logs create “nurse logs” for young saplings. The Quinault Rain Forest, a bit farther south, is equally impressive, and both have interpre- tive trails. Be sure to bring a jacket with a hood! Hoh Rain
