Expanded services to Southern Africa mining sector

Robor Pipe Systems manufactures, imports and supplies complete pipe solutions for applications including the conveyance of slurry, water, steam and acid. “We are able to manufacture stub ends, flanged, ring or groove-ends for the African mining market and are able to custom-manufacture special pipes to client specifications,” said Deon Kruger, Robor Pipe Systems sales director. “As a true solutions-orientated supplier, Robor Pipe Systems also offers a vast range of fittings, linings, couplings, jointing systems and coatings for corrosion and cathodic protection.”

Robor Pipe Systems, a division of Robor (Pty) Ltd from South Africa, has expanded its offering into the high pressure pipe systems market in Southern Africa. The company now has a dedicated team, focussing on high pressure pipe and related products. The expansion was initiated after the demise of Trucking & Engineering (T&E), formerly based in the west of the Gauteng province of South Africa. Robor subsequently employed some key sales and technical resources to supplement its offering.
