Adjustable valve lockout device Master Lock Europe has launched a new adjustable ball valve lock out/tag out (LO/TO) device, designed to quickly and reliably disable a wide variety of quarter-turn valves commonly found in industrial facilities. Used in conjunction with Master Lock safety padlocks, the new S3080 offers an easy and effective way to ensure valves cannot be operated accidentally while maintenance work is being carried out. S3068 designed for high-temperature or extremely harsh environments, and the 468L, which makes accidental valve activation almost impossible by removing and securing the handle. Master Lock’s new S3080 ensures valves cannot be operated accidentally while maintenance work is being carried out

Moulded from durable polycarbonate and PBT, the S3080 is lightweight but robust, and is highly resistant to common industrial chemicals such as sodium hydrochlorate, acetic acid, methanol, naphtha and toluene. With a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +93°C, the S3080 is suitable for harsh or exposed environments. The adjustable S3080 accommodates quarter-turn ball valves from 12.7 to 50.8mm, and can be used with any Master Lock safety lockout padlock. For additional safety, holes in the legs of the S3080 allow use of the Master Lock S806 cable lockout to ensure the most secure fit.
