Welcome to the latest issue of Tube Products International. This month we have features on upcoming trade shows Stainless Steel World Expo in The Netherlands and FABTECH in Chicago and we take an in-depth look at the latest developments and products in the world of stainless steel tubes and small diameter, precision tubes. Wearealso luckyenough tohaveavery interesting interview with Sandvik Brazil veteran Angelo Martines, which should prove an interesting read for anyone interested in becoming more involved in Brazil and South America in general. Last but not least we have an extended feature about the specific difficulties of installing pipe systems in tunnels from leading expert Dave Hudson who is senior product engineer at Victaulic. During the next couple of months I will be chalking up the air miles with flights to São Paulo in Brazil and Chicago, USA. I cannot wait to visit both TuboTech and FABTECH and I am sure I will see plenty of the usual familiar faces. It is always good to meet readers face to face. Next issue we are taking our first look at Tube Düsseldorf 2014 with a preview of the show as well as features focusing on tubes used in the aerospace and car industries and those used specifically for refrigeration and HVAC.
