deprive me of my ground for boasting. For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! c. 1 Cor. 15.8-9 (ESV) – Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. d. 2 Cor. 12.11-12 (ESV) – I have been a fool! You forced me to it, for I ought to have been commended by you. For I was not at all inferior to these super-apostles, even though I am nothing. h. 2 Tim. 1.11 (ESV) – . . . for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher

i. Titus 1.1 (ESV) – Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the sake of the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness . . .
