Designating Those Who Provide Leadership to Our Church Plant Teams World Impact

Team Leader Men and women who provide ongoing spiritual and strategic leadership and oversight of a cross-cultural Church Plant Team among the poor in the city, and who are willing and equipped to take personal responsibility for the well being of the team members and overall execution of the team charter. Multiple Team Leader Men and women experienced in cross-cultural church planting (preferably in an urban context), and who are willing and equipped to coach, mentor, and counsel Church Plant Teams involved in our vision to plant as many churches among the urban poor as soon as possible. Some Critical Assumptions As we offer guidance and input to new, emerging, or struggling Church Plant Teams, both Team Leaders and Multiple Team Leaders will need to be equipped and empowered to: • Be sensitive to each team member’s gifting and burden, as well as the team’s particular make-up , target community, and ministry phase as we give our input. • Give thorough and continuous feedback to individual team members and its Leaders, while allowing each team to maintain maximum autonomy . • Respect and use for the benefit of the Team and its members the scope of authority given to us. • Balance encouragement and accountability for each member of the Church Plant Team, and every Team.
