Our Purpose: The Mission Statement of Anyname Fellowship

As a community of faith and love, we the members of Anyname Fellowship center our faith and life in Jesus Christ. Believing that the Lord has called us together to be His people, we devote ourselves to celebrating new life in Christ as His royal priesthood, cultivating Christian community as members of His family, communicating Christ and His kingdom to the lost as His ambassadors, and caring for our members and others with Christ’s compassion as God’s servants.

As a local body of believers we exist . . .

• To Celebrate New Life in Christ , living together as his royal priesthood (Eph. 3.20-21; Rev. 1.5-6; 4.11)

~ through worship and praise in our awareness of and response to God’s presence (John. 4.24; 1 Cor. 1.31)

~ through gathering together regularly as individuals, in small groups, and in large group celebration in free-spirited worship and praise (Heb. 13.15; Ps. 150; Ps. 34.1-4)

~ through the sacrifice of ourselves and all we have to glorify God as Savior and Lord (Rom. 12.1-2)

• To Cultivate Christian Community in Christ , living together as members of his family (Eph. 3.20, 21; Rev. 1.5-6; 4.11)

~ through the welcoming and acceptance of any and all who name the name of Christ into our fellowship in saving faith and confession through baptism (Acts 2.42-47; Rom. 10.9-10; John 5.24; 1 Cor. 1.31) ~ through our mutual commitment to Jesus Christ in the context of loving Christian community, as members of the one body of Christ (Eph. 4.4-6; 1 Cor. 12.12-27) ~ through oneness and unity in the Holy Spirit, demonstrating the reality of the unity of the Body, both as a congregation and as members of the church in our city (Rom. 15.5-6, 13)
