The Holy Spirit, who is God with the Father and the Son, persuades us to repent of our sins and confess Jesus as Lord. He lives in us, teaches us and enables God’s church to glorify Him, live godly lives, and testify of Christ and His Kingdom in the world (John 3.3-7; 16.7-13; 1 Cor. 12.3; 2 Thess. 2.13; 1 Cor. 6.19-20; 1 Thess. 5.23; Rom. 8.1-14; Eph. 5.17-21). The Church is the living body of Christ on earth. He is its head and the source of its life. The Body is composed of those who have received Him as Savior and Lord, whether living or dead, regardless of race, nation, tribe, or people. The Church exists to celebrate the life of God, cultivate personal growth in Christ, care about one another in Christ and com municate Christ to the world (Col. 1.18; Eph. 2.19-22; Eph. 1.20-22; 5.23-24a; Acts 2.41-42; Matt. 16.15-18; Col. 3.21; Rev. 4.11; Eph. 4.11-13; Matt. 28.20; Rom. 12.3-16; 1 Cor. 12.4-12; Acts 1.8; 2.47). Jesus Christ will return to earth to raise the dead, judge the world and establish His glorious Kingdom. This is the hope of the Church and its encouragement for ministry. Those who have been reborn will live with Him forever (Acts 1.10-11; 1 Thess. 4.16-17; John 5.24-29; Matt. 6.10, 13; 16.27-28; Titus 2.13; Eph. 1.18-23; 1 Thess. 4.18; Phil. 3.20-21; John 3.16; 1 John 5.11-13). As the elders of Anyname church, we are called to equip every member of our growing body to do the work of the ministry (Eph. 4.9-15). Our sincere desire is that each person in our church may celebrate their new life in Christ in worship, experience Christian community, share the gospel with the lost, and care for others in Christ’s name. If you are interested in joining our church family, we would ask that you affirm your commitment to our vision, purpose, and faith. • I affirm my faith in Jesus Christ as Lord of all, the Son of God and Savior of the world, and confess I am a disciple and follower of Christ. • I have publicly expressed my commitment to Jesus Christ through baptism, or I am willing to do so before the members of Anyname Fellowship Church. • I commit myself agree with both the mission and doctrinal statement of Anyname Fellowship, and am willing to participate in its membership class to learn even more about the life of this church.
