III. Operational Strategy: from first interest to Church Plant School

A. Issue an “invitation to consider” to those who meet the “identifying” criteria as listed above. This invitation would come from Regional VP’s and be prompted by either Team Leader or City Director requests.

B. Ensure that they have completed the training requirement above.

1. Meet with them to discuss how this training impacted them.

2. Have them teach back to you World Impact’s vision, objectives and values as well as engaging in dialogue regarding the PLANT process. 3. Line this up with the Team Leader Identification Grid and discuss with them their “Calling, Character, Community, Competence” to see if they want to move ahead with this MTL opportunity.

C. Confirm the MTL calling and communicate both locally and nationally if the candidate agrees to become an MTL.

D. Have them join the John Mark Curriculum in progress (optional for outside World Impact).

E. Meet regularly with other MTL’s in your city, region or nationally as well as any potential TL’s who they will be overseeing.

F. Maintain regular relationship and communication with City Directors and Regional VP’s.

G. Subscribe to CoachNet and become certified as coach by them if encouraged and supported by World Impact leaders.

H. Attend all World Impact Church Planting conferences (optional for outside World Impact).

I. Attend School of Urban Church Planting with any team to whom the MTL will give oversight (contact World Impact, Los Angeles).
