Made in Steel addresses the whole steel industry, and involves the main industries of users, including building, transportation and power and utilities, stimulating their requests and drawing from them to innovate and receive valuable contributions. Made in Steel takes place from 20 to 22 May at Fieramilano, Milan, Italy. It will be the 6 th edition of the conference and exhibition dedicated to the international steel supply chain. Made in Steel has evolved over the years into a major event in the sector in Southern Europe. The universal EXPO 2015 will take place at the same time, beginning on 1 May. The EXPO is to be built next to the centre where Made in Steel will be held. The two events will be connected by a specially made walkway/ gallery called “Passerella Expo – Fiera”. This will allow the visitors of Made in Steel to have the best of both worlds. The 2015 edition will involve an agreement between Made in Steel and Eurometal. This sponsorship has also been agreed upon by the four branches that make up the European continental unit: Dismet – the association of European steel distributors, tubes and metal, Eassc – coordinates the European service centres, Nat Fed – which brings all the national iron and steel distributors together and lastly, STSG – which represents the European traders. On the second day of the event, Made in Steel will host “International Steel Trade Day” which will be organised by STSG. A conference will be held inside the three-day event.
