Sections Interested in Method Extensions – An Update 

In November, Erin and AOAC received an email regarding sections wanting to extend AOAC methods  to local or regional matrices/commodities and asking what level of data collection is needed.   

RECOMMENDATION :  Proposal path forward is to publish the OMB guidance on OMA modifications and extensions as an  appendix to the OMA and leave the decision on what will be required for validation up to the ERP  reviewing the method following the stakeholder comment period.
