Revising Standards and OMA Policy Documents 

Last year the OMB began revising policy documents such as the New Member Selection policy.  With the  AOAC staff restructure and now with the stakeholder panel redesign, we need to review and revise  documents.  One example are the documents that infer or directly state a responsibility of the AOAC  Chief Science Officer.    RECOMMENDATION:    For OMB to work with staff to initiate a review of the policy documents and revise as needed.  The  following documents need review:   1. ERP Policy and Procedures 2. OMA, Appendix F – Guidelines for Standard Method Performance Requirements 3. OMA, Appendix G ‐ Procedures and Guidelines for the Use of AOAC Voluntary Consensus Standards to Evaluate Characteristics of a Method of Analysis 4. Appeals Process 5. Method Modification Process
