could you, please, try and make a point of reading the 2 ½ page report in your

pack about the proposed expansion and development of the Quorn site. It is

an extremely important subject and one where we need to take a very

substantial decision about the future direction of the GFTU in which we make a

massive allocation of the GFTU’s reserves in order to develop that site, that is

what is being proposed, and I think it is very important that we make a fully

informed decision, so I would be grateful if you could read that.

Doug, could you just remind us about the arrangements for tonight.

THE GENERAL SECRETARY: Buffet food is available from now. The coach is

coming at about six and we will get down to the theatre so we have got a few

minutes to go round the theatre to enjoy the atmosphere. The way it is at the

moment I am going to have to give you the tickets as you get on to the coach.
