The Homefront column is designed to inform our members where in the community our new residents are living and other residences they may have. It also keeps up with our present members who have stayed in the community, but moved to new dwellings.

Of course, we always wish our members who are moving out of the community good luck wherever their travels take them and our new members and established members good luck in their new address.

This month we welcome:

JESSICA and ALLAN POULIN who purchased Barbara and Bill Harris’ home on La Porte Drive. They have a son 7 years old and are expecting another child shortly. They will be full time residents. We wish them double good luck.

CAROL ANN and NEIL ABRAMS who bought Ronny Gore’s house on Dijon Way. They also reside in New York and are members of Brae Burn Country Club in the north. When their home renovations are complete, Carol and Neil will be full time members.

DEBORAH and TODD KRASNOW who Purchased Lois Sontag’s home on Parc Drive. They also reside in Newton, Massachusetts. Deborah and Todd’s family are pictured with their 2 sons and daughter, ages 25, 29 and 30.

HAPPY HEALTHY DAYS TO ALL OUR NEW MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES .

The community mourns the loss of our following member:

IRWIN HART who lived at 13764 Rivoli Drive and was a member since 1987. Our heartfelt sympathies to his beloved wife, Donna, and their family.

Something important to think about...

There happens to be a topic we do not think about, but is very important. It is two fold and involves security and our medical history. Director of Security, Mark Hall, has on many occasions told us how important for security to have an up-to-date record of your medical history and the medicines you are currently taking. This is of course most confidential, but necessary if there is an emergency. Next item, is it is important to have a person designated as an emergency contact, probably a family member and not necessarily one in town. This brings us to another item, especially to those members who are single and do not have a relative nearby. Select a member of Frenchman’s to be notified in case of an emergency and register that name with security.

This is something one does not think about until it is too late, so please give it some thought.
