The Euskalduna Conference Centre is a unique building and one of the flagships of new, 21st century Bilbao. This 626,459 sq ft multi-purpose complex is located in the heart of the city of Bilbao, close to the international airport. It hosts a wide range of economic, business, academic, political, institutional, social and cultural events. It is the home of the city’s opera season, organised by ABAO (Friends of the Opera of Bilbao), one of the most highly renowned in Spain and indeed Europe. It is also the home base of the BOS (Bilbao Symphony Orchestra). The building contains a range of venues for meetings and entertainment purposes (an auditorium, congress halls, meeting rooms, offices, foyers and a splendid exhibition hall) along with service areas featuring storage space, cloakrooms, dressing rooms, rehearsal rooms, etc.

BEC Convenciones is the unit responsible for managing the premises allocated for events organised by external organisations at the BILBAO EXHIBITION CENTRE (BEC). Its size, amenities and great versatility make the BEC the perfect venue for congresses, symposiums, concerts, cultural events, corporate meetings, exhibitions, political meetings, banquets, parties, product presentations and a host of other activities. The facilities available comprise a 194,000 sq ft Convention Centre on five levels, featuring rooms with various configurations and seating capacities from 20 to 2,500 plus an exclusive, open-plan, multi-purpose area known as “ Luxua ”. There are also 6 open-plan exhibition halls, including the Bizkaia Arena multi- purpose hall, which between them can provide 1.6 million sq ft of exhibition space.
