Purchasing Department

Down in the depths of Maher Hall, lies the purchasing department. Responsible for the purchasing of everything from furni– ture in our dorms to ferns in the University Center to the flashlights used by our illustri– ous security force, this department is a defi– nite necessity to the functioning of USD. These ladies work with over 7,000 ven– dors in one year just to provide our univer– sity with the necessities it needs to function. Whenever a department needs a vital piece of equipment, it is the purchasing depart– ment that comes through and saves the day. (Purchasing purchases is what Purchasing purchased!!!) Human Resources Department The Human Resources Department plays a vital role for the employees of USD. They process the vast amount of paperwork re– lated to hiring, promotions, interviewing, and evaluations. These individuals make sure that employees are treated fairly, and take action when grievances arise.
