National Order of Omega The Order of Omega is a national honor society which recognizes out– standing leaders in the social frater– nity and sorority system. Greek leaders are selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership within the Greek system and on campus as a whole, and community service. Membership is limited to 3% of the Greek population.

Panhellenic Association

The purpose of the Panhellenic Asso– ciation is to develop and maintain so– rority life and interfraternity relations at a high level of accomplishment. In doing so, they support the goals and ideals of the member groups, and they promote superior intellectual achieve– ment. They cooperate with member fraternities and the University in con– cern for and maintenance of high social and moral standards, acting in accor– dance with all National Panhellenic Conference rules, and providing a co– ordinating body for the activities of the member sororities.

Interfraternity Council

The purpose of the Interfraternity Coun– cil is to promote the best interests of the university, assisting and strengthening fra– ternities individually and collectively, and providing a medium for self-government for the regulation of fraternity affairs. They further the development and expansion of fraternity life on campus, acting as a liason between fraternities and fostering in every way possible, the Greek concept of Broth– erhood among the fraternities and the Uni– versity of San Diego students as a whole.
