Various materials... The MaxxFast Self drilling screws are available in 3 different materials:

Steel-zinc-plated The steel-screws are made of case-hardened steel, with a remaining tough core. MaxxFast Self Drilling Screws meet the size requirements and testing requirements according to DIN 7504 or ISO 15480/15482: 1999. Stainless Steel Stainless steel A2 Maxxfast self-drilling screws are ideally to be used in aluminium alloys with a Brinell hardness up to 75HB. Bi-Metal with Ruspert 500 coating Maxxfast Bimetal screws are specifically designed for application in Steel or Aluminium components. The Ruspert coating will protect the steel-tip from corroding and at same time lubricates the threading process. Different recess types... The MaxxFast self drilling screws are produced in the in most common recess types like Phillips, Square, Hexagon, thus equipped for mechanized mass-assembly with electrical setting tools. In addition to these standard drives, the MaxxFast self drilling screws are also availlable with the innovative TTAP ® drive. applications from different sectors - Mechanical application for sound insulation for engine compartments, fastening of trims/ moldings and sealing of the specific cabin, generally for various devices and equipment. - Truck & Trailer industry. - HVAC-industry (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning applications). - Heat-exchangers and general machining equipment. - White-goods: production of electrical equipment / domestic appliances, e.g. refrigerators freezers, washing machines and dishwashers. - General industry, electrical transformers, generators or lighting fixtures. - Construction industry.
