Tuesday Night has been a symbol of civic pride and over the years it has become one of Brisbane’s greatest icons and community meeting places. The building has played an

called to help others, and the theme for this year’s conference dinner is ‘Unleash your superpower’ . This theme is the chance to embrace our SP/SLT superpowers and to celebrate the heroes in each of us. So why not come dressed as someone (or something) that empowers you? Or come dressed to impress as a hero that inspires you: fictional or real, past or present! You can dress as simply or elaborately as you like. Entertainment options for the night include the photobooth (sponsored by Guild Insurance) so be sure to capture your old and new collaborations here! For those trivia buffs, brush up on your general knowledge and be ready to engage with those around you for an Australia vs New Zealand quiz. Finally, get ready to be empowered with music entertainment by Chris Tamwoy. Chris is nationally and internationally recognised for his music, and after spending his childhood with his family in the Torres Strait Islands, he is now a proud ambassador for his culture and country. Chris will provide entertainment during dinner with his unique playing style and sound. After dinner, it will be time to put on your dancing shoes and bust some moves on the dancefloor with DJ Diggler. Be ready to unleash your inner superhero and embrace your speechie superpowers in a fun-filled night. The 2019 conference dinner is one not to be missed!
