General Facilities

Additional hand sanitation stands have been deployed throughout campus. Alcohol wipes available if possible Evaluate HVAC by building to include: Filters, UV, Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization, Dry Hydrogen peroxide and airflow requirements. BPI and Dry Hydrogen Peroxide may be appropriate for clinics, quarantine dorms or high use spaces. Staggered start times to allow additional coverage during all building occupied hours. The use of facial covering was made mandatory when social distancing (6 ft.) could not be achieved. This applies to both the job site and while driving on campus Traffic and Social Distancing Signage in all areas and buildings ATP testing for high touch surfaces to add confidence

Dorms

Evaluate areas for quarantine Additional common space cleaning HVAC evaluation of extreme importance

Areas of Suspected COVID-19 Exposure

Any areas having been exposed to the virus will be cleaned by SSC. As per recommendation of the CDC, SSC will clean isolated rooms 24 hours after area exposure. If exposure is in common areas, SSC will disinfect immediately. An electrostatic sprayer or a canned fog bomb containing an EPA rated virucide will be utilized initially and a wipe down with virucide will be done once fogged.

General Cleaning Procedures

All general cleaners have been replaced with EPA rated Virucides Investment in capital items targeting disinfection outcomes Maintain appropriate par levels of required PPE and disinfectants A color coded system is utilized on our microfiber towels to avoid cross contamination

Offices/Transportation

Utilize a two rag system while cleaning offices to avoid cross contamination SSC recommended that staff/faculty clean and disinfect their personal items in their office, i.e. Phone, keyboard, mouse, TV and computer. SSC is willing to supply product to based on availability for an additional charge. Continuous update of safety standards Disinfect buses on routine basis and utilize drivers between full treatments (electrostatic)

C3: Secondary Implementation

Intelligent Energy Management In addition to tangible conservation practices, monitoring and controlling energy consumption can have a major impact on a campus’s bottom line. SSC has developed a comprehensive energy management program that can make operational adjustments to maximize efficiency in heating, cooling, and electrical usage. From small, energy efficient upgrades to major capital expenditures, SSC can deliver significant long-term return on investment through utility cost reduction. Our program can help you realize revenue growth that can be applied to other areas to help you achieve your goals. THE ISSUE: OUR SOLUTION:

Outdated technology and poorly-operating HVAC equipment and control systems are major contributors to warm and humid classrooms and code-deficient indoor air quality. A recent Berkeley National Laboratory Study showed elevated CO2 levels correspond to decreased cognitive function. Children in classrooms with higher outdoor air ventilation rates tend to achieve higher scores on standardized tests in math and reading than children in poorly-ventilated classrooms.

Our energy team installs HVAC, lighting, and control systems that meet and exceed ASHRAE standards, restoring the classroom to the appropriate academic learning environment. Air handler unit retrofit and modernization Demand control ventilation Cooling tower optimization Full lighting controls optimization and LED fixture replacements Constant flow to variable flow conversions Electrical system power factor correction Variable refrigerant systems
