ROUGH RIDER LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK Straight Bourbon Whiskey #30103829 / 750ml This Bourbon is handcrafted and aged in new American oak casks for a minimum of two years, then extra matured in wine casks formerly housing Merlot and Chardonnay from renowned Long Island estates. The casks are first rinsed with high proof aged Brandy allowing the Bourbon to take on a new character which adds depth and complexity with a hint of fruit such as blackberry and currant. Floral to the nose with an incredibly smooth, well-rounded sweet flavor. “LI Distillery of the Year”, NYISC 2013“ 94pts Great Value/Excellent, Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2016 “The Happy Warrior” Cask Strength Bourbon #30181022 / 750ml Happy Warrior fills barely a few hundred cases per batch. This straight bourbon whisky is aged for a minimum of four years prior to additional maturation in French Oak casks (Merlot & Chardonnay) that have been rinsed with high proof brandy. When ideal flavor and balance are achieved, Happy Warrior is hand-bottled straight from cask at 114 proof. Complex hints of caramel, vanilla and with a wonderful warm finish. Bull Moose Three Barrel Rye Whiskey #30103828 / 750ml Ageing in three types of casks adds complexity and richness. The journey begins in New American Oak where it takes on spicy, sweet cinnamon flavors. Next it is moved to casks that held straight bourbon, here rye and bourbon flavors get to know each other. This rye is among the highest proof you’ll see on the shelf. Uncut, this dark amber whiskey has a rich caramel aroma and a wood-heavy palate that finishes long, spicy and hot.
