Using 100% Espadín agave let to mature at least 10 years. Fidencio Joven Mezcal #30133890 / 750ml Clásico is distilled twice in a traditional, wood fired, Alembic still, very similar to the stills used in Cognac. After the second distillation, we add a touch of water, and bottle at 44% alcohol. Beautiful hand-crafted, stone-milled tequila by fifth-generation Sauza family using traditional techniques, all echoing their unique heritage, authentic production process and artisan methodologies. Fortaleza is a “lowlands” tequila, made from agave that takes longer to ripen giving it a sweeter flavor.
