STAG’S HEAD Stags Head Premium Blended Scotch Whisky #30137932 / 750ml Expertly distilled then slowly matured in both sherry and bourbon casks. It is then judiciously blended under the supervision of Master Distiller David Hallgarten. The color of this whisky is deep gol. The nose has a deep bouquet with vanilla oak honey & dried fruit. The palate has rich flavors of honey sherry and malt. The casks are “married” for an unusually long period of time giving Stag’s Head its deep rich flavor and long smooth finish. *BEST VALUE Wolfburn, the most northerly whisky distillery on the Scottish mainland, crafts this is exceptional single malt scotch whisky by hand, using only the finest ingredients, and without haste. Aurora is twice distilled in traditional copper pot stills, then aged 3 years; matured in a combination of American oak and Spanish oak (sherry casks). This spirit is clean and full of character; soft and slightly unctuous. Formally, however, a blended whisky is a product that contains a mix of barrel-aged malt and grain whiskies. What Does Single Mean, Anyway? The confusion lies in the simple word single. A single-malt scotch whisky is nothing more or less than the product of a single distillery. Not a single batch or a single barrel, but a single distillery.
