W hat does your position entail ? As a House Captain, it is your job to assist in leading the House. This involves organising many events and managing people, but essentially it is about making people see that they belong to something greater than the individual.

F ive tips for you as successors

• Distribute tasks evenly between captains as this will make the work load easier.

• Focus on uniting the Franklin seniors, if your senior cohort shows immense leadership, you will be a leading example for those in younger grades. • Be confident in your abilities, and if you want to do something that will benefit the house, make suggestions and take initiative.

• Remember to ask for help if you are unsure about your role in anything.

• Focus on building strong relationships with those around you.
