ES El Hotel Riu Playacar reabrió sus puertas el pasado 10 de octubre tras una completa reforma en la que se han invertido 32 millones de dólares. El establecimien- to, inaugurado en 2000, ha renovado sus instalaciones basándose en el nuevo diseño que RIU está implementando en todos sus hoteles, pero sin perder la esencia y la per- sonalidad que lo han llevado a ser uno de los resort de referencia en la Riviera Maya. Además de sus 396 habitaciones, se ha remodelado el resto de áreas del hotel como el lobby, la recepción, los cuatro bares del resort y todos los restaurantes, incluido el principal, The Palms, y los tres espacios temáticos. Por su parte, el complejo y sus jardines se han rediseñado para mejorar tanto los servicios dirigidos a los adultos como las instalaciones destinadas a los más pequeños. En el nuevo Riu Playacar, además, los clien- tes podrán realizar numerosas actividades organizadas por el equipo de animación del hotel, así como disfrutar de deportes acuá- ticos en la playa. La oferta de ocio nocturna se completa con los espectáculos y música en vivo del nuevo teatro del hotel.

EN Riu Playacar reopened its doors on 10 October after being fully refurbished as part of a 32-million-dollar investment. The hotel, which first opened in 2000, has refurbished its facilities based on the new RIU design being rolled out at all its properties while preserving the es- sence and personality that have made it one of the best resorts in the Riviera Maya. In addition to its 396 rooms, the other areas of the hotel, such as the lobby, the reception, the resort’s four bars and each of its restaurants, including The Palms and the three themed areas, have also been refurbished. The com- plex and its gardens have also been re- designed to improve services for adults and the facilities available for children. The new Riu Playacar has a range of activities for guests to enjoy, organised by the hotel’s entertainment team and complemented by water sports on the beach. The range of night activities now includes shows and live music at the hotel’s new theatre.

DE Am vergangenen 10. Oktober wurde das Hotel Riu Playacar nach einer umfassen- den, 32 Millionen Dollar teuren Renovierung wieder erö net. Die Einrichtungen des im Jahr 2000 erstmals erö neten Hotels wur- den im neuen Design gestaltet, das RIU in allen seinen Hotels einführt, ohne dass dabei der individuelle Charakter, verloren ging, der das Resort zu einem der bedeutendsten an der Riviera Maya gemacht hat. Neben den 396 Zimmern wurden auch die anderen Bereiche des Hotels neu gestaltet, wie die Lobby, die Rezeption, die vier Bars und alle Restaurants, einschließlich des Hauptrestaurants The Palms und der drei Themenbereiche. Die Anlage und die Gärten wurden umgestaltet um sowohl die Leistun- gen für die Erwachsenen als auch die Einrich- tungen für die Kle, insten zu verbessern. Im neuen Riu Playacar können die Gäste zudem an zahlreichen vom Animationsteam organisierten Aktivitäten teilnehmen und am Strand verschiedene Wassersportarten aus- üben. Das abendliche Unterhaltungsangebot wird durch Shows und Live-Musik im neuen Theater des Hotels ergänzt.
