CLASS OF 2002 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2019

CLASS REPS: Sarah Rea and Caitlin Peddie Stark Lauren Robinson is a general partner at Highline BETA and leads an organization called Female Funders. Lauren was recognized as one of BC’s most influential women for her contributions in the venture capital industry and her positive impact in supporting diversity. Kim Baker works as a family doctor in Ingersoll and is engaged to Peter Lanis. In Toronto, Courtney Ashton enjoys her new role as director and legal counsel (investments) at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Caitlin Harrigan continues to enjoy her role as manager of greenspace conservation at Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. She is expecting her first child this spring. Deborah (Deb) Gollob is a portfolio manager at Health Quality Ontario and a full-time graduate student at U of T’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. Alishah Damji is passionate about working in the mental health sector as an occupational therapist while reducing stigma and educating stakeholders through teaching mental health first aid. Clarice (Reesy) Dale enjoys her job at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development. Reesy’s daughter Betty starts kindergarten this fall. Haseena Hussein is a staff internist at William Osler. Nina Mafrici Mariani expanded her practice, Toronto Psychology & Wellness Group, which provides comprehensive treatment for adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders and other mental health issues. She is looking forward to visiting family in Italy this summer. Caley Borden enjoys her new role at Spencer Stuart. Molly Ehrlich Friedman is a pediatric dentist, splitting her time between Forest Hill Children’s Dentistry and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Vanessa (Ness) Kenalty ’s son Rexy loves daycare, her daughter Zoey starts kindergarten in the fall, and her husband is still the only family member without red hair. Vanessa works at The Rumie Initiative, a non-profit tech start-up. Allison Freeman enjoys her new role at Sleep Country Canada leading strategy. Nicole Tapscott is a vice-president at Casper. As in-house counsel with Tim Hortons and three kids in tow, Natalie Reisman Berger

continues to live a life that’s never boring. Sarah Rea is director, social commitment at Meridian. She is expecting her first child in March. Having enjoyed maternity leave with her daughters Isla and Noa, Jessica Galati Diamond is now back teaching. Kathryn Bovaird Kerr will return to her role as executive director of prepaid products at Cineplex Entertainment in the spring, and Josie Haynes will spend the summer in Muskoka before returning to work as vice president at Citizen Relations. Jen Sceviour teaches yoga internationally. Jen returns to Muskoka in the summer to manage her family retail business, Simple Chic. Living in Bermuda, Allie Howells Lima completed the qualifications to become a licensed teacher. In the United States, Nadine Straka is a fellow in pediatric critical care medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Samantha Irwin is an assistant professor of clinical neurology at The University of California San Francisco diagnosing and treating children with refractory headache disorders and concussion. Heena Patel is deepening her work as a cultural strategist in the arts. Her newest production Garba360 premiered at Lincoln Center, in San Francisco and Chicago.
