and can also be connected to K-Type external temperature probes for contact temperature measurements. The operating IR temperature range is between -50°C and +850°C, whilst the K-Type temperature range is between -64°C and +1,400°C with a reading being taken in about 1 second and being accurate to between ±2%. The digital thermometer displays the recorded temperature on a large, backlit LCD display, which can then be stored on the automatic data hold for storage of the last reading. It also allows the user to calculate the minimum, maximum, difference and average temperatures. Built-in high and low alarms will indicate to the user when the temperature being measured falls outside the unit’s infrared temperature detection range. The product also features a trigger lock mechanism for continuous temperature taking and an auto power facility to save on power and maintain battery life.
