At the initiative of the President a Mass for Peace was celebrated m the President's Hall, Blackball Place, by the Rev. Martin Clarke, C.C., Celbridge, on January 6. The Rev. Canon N. V. Commiskey, Vicar of St. Michan's Church, read the prayers and imparted the blessing. This was the first religious ceremony to be held in the Hall since it ceased to be the Chapel of the King's Hospital School. The President of the Society, Mrs. Moya Quinlan, is seen with Canon Commiskey (left), and Father Clarke (who is a Solicitor) after the Mass.
