Ulster Rugby vs Munster

BIG BALLOT Each year the URSC presents a Jack Kyle Bursary Award (currently worth £2500) to one of Ulster’s promising youngsters from the Hughes Insurance Ulster Rugby Academy - internationals Craig Gilroy, Iain Henderson & Stuart Olding are but 3 of the players who have benefited from our Bursary in the past. Last year it was scrum half Dave Shanahan. The Jack Kyle Bursary is largely funded by URSC’s annual “Big Ballot” - where fans buy ballot tickets in the hope of winning prizes donated by local sponsors. Among the Big Ballot prizes this year are: > Use of Heineken Box (up to 12 people) at Belfast Giants match of choice. URSC MEMBERSHIP 2016/17

100 URSC members had a Meet the Players evening to remember on Monday night as they questioned Marcell Coetzee, Paul Marshall, Darren Cave, Kyle McCall and Louis Ludik. The European campaign so far; the Autumn Internationals; referees; injuries and hardest opponents all featured in the latest discussion. Shirts were signed and selfies taken. Many thanks to the players for their time! MEET THE PLAYERS Thanks too to all Ulster and Exeter fans who paid their respects to Anthony Foley before and during last week’s match – the rugby family is as one in grief at the life of one of its own cut so cruelly short. If you have any problems or questions, please contact membership@ursc.co.uk It was great to see so many Exeter Chiefs fans over for last week’s match – particularly Richard Cresswell, Chairman of the Exeter Chiefs supporters club and the many members of his tribe! Respect too for the Exeter cyclists who rode from Sandy Park to Kingspan with Exeter Chief Executive Tony Rowe at the wheel of the support bus – well done – brilliant effort. A big thank you to the Ulster peloton that accompanied our visitors for the final miles to Kingspan Stadium and to Malone Rugby Club who hosted the Chiefs fans before and after the match.
