How to Access Paystubs Through MHC Document Self Service

1. Go to http://citynet and click on the cloud icon under the Search field.

2. You will be directed to the Pay Stub Access page. Click on the word ‘Login’ to access your pay stub.

3. You are now directed to the MHC Software Document Self-Service. This is where you have the ability to view and print your past and present individual pay stub and W2 documents securely at your convenience.

 Enter your User Name and Password and click Login.

4. You are now in Document Self Services.

Note: The first time you need to do some setup to be notified by email. If you have done the setup, you can proceed to step 12.

5. Click Paystubs. This allows you to receive an email when your paystub is available to view and/or print.

6. This menu option allows you to authorize the City of Greensboro to distribute your paystubs with a PDF document via email. The green check mark beside the word “Web” located under Paystubs is automatically checked. You will not be able to disable this option. Your City of Greensboro email address will be displayed. If your City email address does not appear or your name is spell incorrectly, contact the Service Desk at 373-2322.

7. If you would like to receive a copy of your pay stub as an encrypted PDF attachment in an email, click on the box below. The encrypted default password below (if populated) consists of your full last name (first letter capitalized) followed by the last four digits of your social security number (no spaces in between). Example password: Brown1234. If not populated you may enter a password that you can remember. Click Submit. A green check mark will indicate your acceptance. An email confirmation will be sent to the primary email address entered in this section. You will receive an email for each new pay stub. Note: You can add a personal home email address in the secondary Email Address field but it is not necessary.

8. If you forget your password, click “I Forgot My PDF Password”. An email with your password will be emailed to your Primary email address.

9. You also need to give authorization to receive your W2 in your self-service portal. Please click the words “ Click Here to get authorized ”.

10.You will have to click the Print Test button.

11.A box will popup asking if you would like to view a sample of the Tax Document. If you click the link, you will see what you see below this screenshot. If you are not interested just click the “Yes” button.

12. After you click “Yes” on the previous screen, you should see this. Please click the “I Agree” button.

13. Now click the submit button and a green check mark and the word “Authorized” will appear on the left.

You are now done with setup. If you are an hourly (non-benefitted) employee, you will not have a 1095-C Statement or anything under Employee Documents. As such, that setup is not necessary.

14. You are now ready view your Paystubs and W2s. To view your paystubs click on the words “My Paystubs” and you should get a screen that looks like the one below.

Click the magnifying glass beside the paystub you want to view. You can also view other years of paystubs by clicking the “ Filter By Year ” dropdown.

15.This screen will appear. Just click the READ button and a new tab will open with your paystub.

16.To view your W2, click the words “My W2” and the screen below will appear. To view, click on the magnifying glass and the W2 will appear in another tab.
