lection into the future for public viewing. Because he had donated a collection to the Lecompton Museum and then had it disappear, he wanted an earnest assurance that we were sincere by an exchange donation. This we knew could only occur through a sincere donor. Thanks to Colleen Ewan, Museum President, and the Council, a very willing Donor, David Schwartz came through and the exchange was made. Jerry brought to us this summer over 40 boxes. It represents many different areas in and around Miami County. We still need better lighting and possibly some nicer display cases. We invite the public to come and view the new collection. We are proud of it. On September 13th three members of the Miami Tribe from Okla homa viewed the exhibit just prior to their Pow-Wow at Louisburg Timbercreek Restaurant. They were Jarrid Baldwin, Doug Peconage and Meghan Dorey. Doug was from Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
