USD Women's Soccer 2003

TORERO STADIUM -THE HOME OF SAN DIEGO SOCCER-

Torero Stadium, home to USD soccer and football, also served home to the San Diego Spirit of the former Women's United Soccer Association for three seasons. With that, the Torero Stadium received numerous up– grades that make it one of the best facilities of its size on the west coast. New seating behind the east end zone, as well as on the south side of the field, expands the stadium seating capacity to 7,000 seats. Torero Stadium also received a new grass turf, new lighting and sound system, and additional press box space. A little over a year ago the field was widened by 7 yards; it is now 72 yards wide for soccer. Torero Stadium has also been the host site for numerous men's and women's NCAA Postseason Tourna– ments.
