A nationally recognized and competitive force in intercollegiate athletics , the wee sponsors 13 sports: men 's and women 's basketball , soccer, tennis , cross country, and golf; baseball ; and women 's volleyball and rowing . The wee has produced 34 NCAA individual or team champions and numerous Academic All– Ameri cans. Many outstanding WCC student-athletes have alsc gone on to excel in professional sports.
