Lucas Curtolo takes on the role of USD top as– sistant coach. Curtolo has amassed an impres– sive coaching resume since graduating with a
B.S. in Communications from UC San Diego in 2000. Curtolo guided San Diego Surf's Under 16 club program to a National Championship in 2003. His outstanding coaching was recognized with State Coach of the Year awards from the NSCAA and the California State Coaches Association.
The Surf Club program tabbed him as the 2003 Coach of the Year, as his Under 16 and Under 13 squads won Regional Championships. From 2000-2002 he served as the head coach of nearby La Costa Canyon High School while also assisting at his alma mater UC San Diego. As a standout collegiate player, Curtolo led the Tritons to the NCAA Regional Finals as a senior and ranks second all-time on the school's career shutout list.

Theresa Wagner brings a wealth of soccer experience to San Diego as a first-year assistant coach. After a storied collegiate playing career at the University of Washing–
ton, Wagner played for the Seattle Sounders and the San Jose Cyber Rays of the WUSA, claiming a WUSA National Championship with San Jose in 2001. Wagner earned All-Pacific Coast Conference honors in each of her four years at Washing– ton. She was also a three-time All Academic Pac-10 selection while earning her B.A. in Business with a 3.5 GPA. As a senior at Washington, Wagner garnered NSCAA Scholar Athlete All-American accolades; and was named to the second team All- West Region team; and Soccer Buzz tabbed her as an honorable mention All– American. Most recently Wagner served as a volunteer assistant for the 2001 Pac-10 Champion Stanford Cardinal.

Fay De Leon joins Ada Greenwood's coaching staff as a volunteer assistant this season. De Leon was a standout four-year collegiate player at San Diego State, twice earn– ing West Region All-American honors. De Leon's play–
ing accolades also include being named to the Soccer Buzz freshman All-American team, All– Mountain West Conference selections as both a sophomore and junior, two years as SDSU's team captain, and a pair of NCAA College Cup team tournament appearances. De Leon's coaching experience is just beginning, developing young players within the San Diego Surf Under 8 and Under 12 club programs and assisting at USD.
