APEGBC’s two charitable organizations—the APEG Foundation and the Engineers and Geoscientists Benevolent Fund— continued to receive generous support from APEGBC members this year. From July 2011 to June 2012, over 845 members made contributions to one or both of these important charities. The Foundation received just over $47,533 to help support student engineering and geoscience education scholarships, while the Benevolent Fund received just over $25,248 to support its grant programs for members in exceptional financial need. The generosity of all donors listed below helps to ensure the continued operation of these valuable charities and is greatly appreciated. Your contributions will help ensure that the Foundation can continue to fund these important engineering and geoscience scholarships throughout the province. All donations to the APEGBC Foundation or Benevolent Fund are tax deductible under CRA regulations.
