Kern Medical continues to improve and expand our medical education programs and curriculum to meet the evolving needs of today’s medical students.

IN ADDITION TO CORE CLERKSHIPS, THIRD YEAR MEDICAL STUDENTS WILL PARTICIPATE IN: • Bi-monthly Grand Rounds • Quarterly professionalism and well-being workshops • Faculty coaching and mentoring • Simulation curriculum • Participation in research and quality projects

FOURTH YEAR MEDICAL STUDENTS WILL BENEFIT FROM: • Workshops and panel discussions • Drafting a personal statement • Interviewing skills • NRMP process and matching • Innovative electives • Courtesy residency interview

STUDENT UNION The Student Union provides essential space dedicated to meet the needs of our medical students. Open 24/7, it’s a place to study, relax and connect with peers. This space provides students individual computer work stations, a large meeting room, a comfortable lounge with a kitchenette and dining area. The Student Union building also houses Kern Medical’s Department of Medical Education, which supports Kern Medical’s Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education residency and fellowship programs. The Student Union was funded by a donation from Ross University School of Medicine.
