e following overview shows the price development of the ten new combustion engine passenger cars and ten pure electric cars that we tracked. For the period August 2023 – August 2024, the price development of new ICE cars was not clear-cut. For four models, the price fell, for one it remained unchanged, and for ve it rose. Source: Official price lists of each brand, including discount promotions/bonuses in a given month ere is a much clearer trend in the prices of pure electric passenger cars for the period from August 2023 to August 2024. For ve models, the price has fallen and for three it has remained the same. Among others, the Tesla Model 3 increased by 1.1% following the imposition of tari s by the European Commission on electric cars imported from China. e average price decrease for the models monitored was 5%.
