Statistical analysis of interlaboratory studies. XLVII. Simple large-sample confidence intervals for the difference in proportions on paired data.

AUTHOR: R. A. LaBudde ABSTRACT: The statistical analysis of matched data requires special consideration because of the dependency among methods. Simple large-sample formulae are given for the mean, its standard error and a confidence interval of the difference between two methods observed qualitatively on paired data. Such formulae will be useful, e.g., for microbiological studies paired on test portion enrichments.
