How to work out Nutrient Inputs

Granular Fertiliser

Use the following formula to convert to kg per hectare: Application rate (in g/m 2 ) x % nutrient content of fertiliser applied ÷ 10 Example: For an application of 12:0:9 fertiliser at 35g per sq.m

35 X 12 ÷ 10 = 42 kg/ha. N 35 X 9 ÷ 10 = 31.5 kg/ha. K 2 O
