AOAC 2012.01 Feedback on Method Received by AOAC From Method End Users

AOAC 2012.01 – An Overview Certified as Performance Tested SM in 2006  ‐ PTM Cert No.: 120601 • Analytes: gliadins, secalins, and hordeins • Matrices: (1g) wheat, buckwheat, rice, corn, oats, syrup, and sausage

Adopted as Official Method AOAC 2012.01 in 2012 with the broader  applicability for “foods.”  Manuscript published in 2013.

Method in use for four (4) years prior to Final Action consideration.

In 2016, AOAC 2012.01 was reviewed for Final Action status.  “to move 2012.01 for AOAC Final Action consideration status with the title being changed to “Gluten in  Rice and Corn Based Foods”
