According to the three operators which provided information, well decommissioning activities in Denmark are not expected to begin until 2023, with Danish assets being less mature relative to those on the UKCS. Operators in the sector will therefore be able to use lessons learned from the UKCS, as well as a developed supply chain with considerable work experience to their benefit presenting an opportunity for UK companies to export their expertise.
