Surrogate Outcome Indicators

Surrogate outcome indicators consist in indicators that circumvent the problem of clinical results (in term of control, survival and adverse events) and give an alternative criteria for its evaluation.

The most important surrogate indicators are:

- patients opinion

- collegues opinion

- treatment (procedure) cost evaluation
