○ Congruent, image, orientation, pre-image/image, refection, rotation, translation, opposite reciprocal slope, parallel lines, perpendicular lines, orientation, angle, angle of rotation, circle, concentric circles, degree, perpendicular bisector ● Carry out rigid transformations ● Identify all angles of rotational symmetry and lines of symmetry ● Provide justifcation and reasoning to prove a congruence statement and attributes of a rectangle using correct math vocabulary such as: ○ Congruent (CPCTC), diagonal, line of symmetry, regular polygon, rotational symmetry, trapezoid, bisect, bisector, midpoint, n-gon, opposite angles, opposite vertices, opposite sides, conjecture

● Lesson 6.1: Launch - use visuals of how animated cartoons are drawn, Explore - offer choice with which transformation to start with, utilize software such as Geogebra Discus - graphic organizer to record features of each transformation ● Lesson 6.2: Launch - Think-Pair-Share, Explore - complete at least one experiment with each of the two different triangles ● Lesson 6.3: Jump start - review previous notes on Pythagorean Theorem ● Lesson 6.4: Launch - Think-Pair-Share, Explore - Stronger & Clearer Each time (successive share & revise) ● Lesson 6.5: Jump start - Which One Doesn’t Belong?
