North access at high tide

Lewis Park River Access Improvements Two areas of river access at Lewis Park received upgrades this past October. The work was scheduled and approved through coordination with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the Ministry of Forests, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations. The north access has a new set of stairs. The south access currently has a new platform. The south access will also have stair modifications added to it in the spring of 2019. Both accesses will be ready for the summer season when many tubers and swimmers enjoy the river.
