Ulster Rugby vs Oyonnax

EUROPEAN RUGBY CHAMPIONS CUP 2015/16 POOL UPDATES : ROUND 6

POOL UPDATE

POOL ONE

POOL FOUR Leicester, like Sarries and Racing, have done the business after five rounds. They travel to Stade Francais (14 points) on Sunday knowing that the Top 14 champions simply must win to have to a chance of going through as a best runner-up. Munster (10 points) need a bonus point victory at Treviso, but like Glasgow, 15 points might not be enough. Toulon (16 points) will be going for the win at Bath on Saturday, and Wasps (15 points) will be looking to complete the double over Leinster at the Ricoh. There might be a lifeline in defeat for both clubs, but forget that for now. This pool definitely feels like win or bust for the two main protagonists. POOL FIVE In-form Racing 92 have won the pool and have their home quarter-final into the bargain. Northampton (14 points) have to win at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday, and they might need a bonus point to keep their qualification fires burning. If Glasgow (10 points) could somehow conjure up a bonus-point victory over Racing, and if Saints happen to lose, the Scots will still need a host of results to go their way in order to steal a runner-up spot on 15 points. POOL THREE

With five wins out of five and 24 points, Saracens have already booked their place in the last eight and are guaranteed a home quarter-final. Another win in Toulouse on Saturday and the Aviva Premiership high-fliers are also likely to be confirmed as No 1 seeds. As for Ulster in second place on 13 points, they almost certainly need all five points at Kingspan against Oyonnax in the hope of grabbing one of three best runners- up spots. The Irish province will be mindful, however, that Saracens reached the knockout stage last season with 17 points. With all four clubs still in the qualification race, the permutations are endless here! Suffice to say, if the Ospreys (16 points) win at Exeter (11 points) on Sunday, they will top the pool and secure a quarter-final place for the first time since 2010, but if Exeter win, then the Welsh region are probably eliminated. A win for Clermont (14 points) against Bordeaux-Begles (11 points) at fortress Marcel-Michelin might be enough to see them through, but the home team will certainly be targeting a bonus point. If Bordeaux pull off a shock victory and if Exeter win as well, then break out the calculators. POOL TWO
