~~ dlf~ EYES ON... ''THIS AND THAT'' ByLolsCooper -~ Ltlt. Congratulations to the East Central Junior College football team. The Warriors were the only team in the Decatur area to win last week. The Decatur High School Warriors had an open date. The Newton County Academy Generals lost to Hattiesburg Prep by 18-13. There is some question on whether or not this game will have to by played over because of the possible ineligibility of some of the referees. A decision was to be made on the status of the game the flrst of this week. The Generals were 3-5 prior to the last Friday night game. Coach Burt really complimented his General team on the effort put forth by the team this year. The Generals travel to Sylva Bay this Friday night. The ECJC Warriors won their game over Mississippi Delta by 22-20. The Warriors will be hosting Jones in a South Division match on Saturday night.
