l Presented ECJC Football Awards

Awards were presented at the annual East Central Junior College Athletic Banquet recently to students who participated in the football program. Recipients of aw~rds included Jay Jones of Forest (far left) , Most Outstanding Defensive Player, Most Valuable Player, Team Captain, State All Star team, and All State second team; Steve Gates of Carthage (center), Team Captain; Ken Wallace of Philadelphia (second from right), Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman; and Jeff Breland of Union (far right ), All Region XXIII, first team All State and State All Star team. Others r ecognized we~e Calvin Harper of Forest, Most OutstandingDefensiveLineman, State All Star team, and second team All State; Charlie Triflett of Louisville, Most Outstanding Defensive Back and second team All State; and Chris Perry of Decatur, State All Star team and second team All State. Coaches for the 1982-83 football season were A. J. Kilpatrick, David Bradberry and Freeman Horton. ,_. . -----~ --------
