Severance – Turn ON Meter/ Read

Check FA portal in CC&B Select desired travel location Upon arrival check for correct address Check and compare meter number and or Meter Interface Unit(MIU) number

Check Register face for size and type. Verify the meter/ register compatibility Read the register Utilities Technician will verify meter lid is free of obstruction and meter box is cleaned out providing clear access to meter. Reconnect the water service at the meter. The lock out seal number will be recorded to use with completion notes FA Completion: All work in CC&B must be done with CAPS On FA Portal • Select Field Activity Type • Go to Service point ID to verify last read • Go to SP Consumption • Review last read for address and meter verification • Return to the FA portal using back arrow • Search for the work truck and select • Complete the FA adding notes including the meter reading, date, whether they turned the meter on, if they turned on but then turned back off/left tag due to continuous usage, lock out seal number, initials and the truck number
