High speed braiding HangZhou Sanp Machinery Co Ltd, China, manufactures high speed braiding machines, and set a new record in 2006, producing and selling more than 1,600 braider units during the year. Exports account for 30% of Sanp’s total sales, and the company is seeking a foreign partner to expand its overseas market. The company’s latest developments include the HGSB-16D extra fine wire braiding machine, and a specialised machine for steel wire for shipboard cable and marine cable.

The company expects the latter machine to have good prospects in China, Japan and Korea. Braiders from Sanp are used for many kinds of braiding, such as extra fine wire, common wire and rough wire. The company’s range of braider models consists of: HGSB-16A, HGSB-16B, HGSB-16C, HGSB-16D, HGSB-16E, HGSB- 24A, HGSB-24B, HGSB-24E, HGSB-32A and HGSB-48A.
